The painters are gone, the floors and windows have been cleaned, last thing on the on the list; call the duct cleaning company.
Many of our customers are homeowners that have just completed a home remodeling project. They realize that the dust that at one point or another covered virtually everything, also was sucked into their duct work. The dust gets everywhere, and with the cold air return acting like a big vacuum cleaner, much of that dust, dirt and construction debris finds it's way into the air ducts.
What's in My Air Ducts?
What kind of dust, dirt and debris you ask? Well, we find sawdust, sheetrock dust, plastic, tape, nails, soda cans, you name it. We even found a boot! How it got there we can only imagine. Perhaps the latest "new hire" on the crew learned to not leave his boots laying around! On more than one occasion we have found air ducts completely plugged with insulation, fast food bags and other construction debris. No matter what's in the ductwork, it was never designed for anything to be in them, period! For air to move through the house effectively, your air ducts need to be clean and free of anything that might restrict airflow.

Well said. For those of you considering a home remodeling project, remember to budget in for clean-up. Carpet cleaning, duct cleaning, rubbish to be hauled away, dumpster rental, etc.
It is very important to maintain the electronic gadgets of the house and clean them so that there are no unhealthy air from them and the air outside is also looked after.
